Known as the “Jewel of the Hills”, Clarksburg is the principal city of the Clarksburg, WV Micropolitan Statistical Area. Its major employers include Federal Bureau of Investigation WV Complex, Wal-Mart, Merrick Engineering and Infocision. Laurel is home to the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art which is Mississippi s oldest art museum. The Weston State Hospital sits on more that 300 acres in Weston. Weston is home to several notable tourist attractions including the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum (TALA), the West Virginia Museum of American Glass, and the Military Museum.
