Presque Isle, ME is the commercial center and largest city in Aroostook County, Maine, United States. The city is home to the University of Maine at Presque Isle, Northern Maine Community College, Husson University, Presque Isle Northern Maine Fairgrounds, The Aroostook Centre Mall, and the Northern Maine Regional Airport. Presque Isle is the headquarters of the federally recognized tribe, the Aroostook Band of Micmac. Skyway Industrial Park is the largest area of “industrial zone” property in Presque Isle. The park includes 440 acres of developable land, 44-city and privately owned industrial buildings and DEP-permitted land sites. It is located adjacent to the Northern Maine Regional Airport and the Northern Maine Community College and within minutes of downtown.The top three employers in Aroostook County are the Aroostook Medical Center, Northern Maine Medical Center Health Care and Fraser Papers.
