Founded in 2020, TVB’s NEXT Women program helps identify, prepare and advocate for women in the local broadcast television industry as they aspire to leadership roles. Members of NEXT Women include professionals from TV stations, broadcast groups, sales rep firms, media agencies, media research and ad tech companies.
NEXT Women provides resources and community for professional and personal development, empowering and preparing women for advancement at each stage of their careers. We foster leadership, communication and professional skill building through engaging programming, including webinars, video sessions, podcasts and live networking events.

E.W. Scripps has promoted Leeza Glazier to the role of general manager and news director at KGUN and KWBA, its ABC affiliates in Tucson, Ariz.
- WideOrbit Appoints Toni Coonce CEO
WideOrbit, a provider of media revenue workflow management, has named Toni Coonce chief executive officer.
- WMTV Appoints a New News Director
The Gray Media–owned dual NBC/The CW affiliate serving Wisconsin’s state capital as “15 News” has selected a new News Director. She’ll assume the role on September 8. Taking the role at WMTV-TV in Madison, Wisc., is Bridget Fargen.
